the Museum Center, on Maysville's Sutton Street, the markers in the Pioneer
Graveyard are silent historians of life, and death, hundreds of years ago. Recorded
burials date from 1800 to 1847. "Residents" include Samuel DeHart, a
Revolutionary War veteran, and Peter Grant, the uncle of Ulysses S. Grant. More information about the graveyard can be found on
